Directorate of Education, BTC, Kokrajhar has released an official notification for the recruitment of  427 Assistant Teacher (LP) and Assistant Teacher(UP) vacancies in schools under the Director of Education, BTC, Kokrajhar. The candidates who are interested and eligible may apply online.

Eligibility Criteria of BTC Kokrajhar Recruitment 2021:

 

Educational Qualification:

 

Assistant Teacher (LP):

The Candidate should Pass Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

 

The candidate should pass Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

OR

 

The candidate should pass Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).

OR

 

The candidate should pass Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

AND

 

The candidate should pass in Assam BTC TET for LPS, conducted by the Elementary Education Department, Assam.

 

Assistant Teacher (UP): The applicants should Graduate from UGC recognized University and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education) and passed in Assam BTC TET for UPS Conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam.

 

Science Teacher (UP): The applicants should have B.Sc. from the UGC recognized University and 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. or D.Ed (Special Education) or B.Ed.(Special Education) and passed in Assam/BTC TET for UPS (Science and Mathematics) conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam.

 

Hindi Teacher (UP): The applicants should Graduate from UGC recognized University having Pravin/Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education) and passed in Assam BTC TET for UPS Conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam.

 

Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years of age for the unreserved category.

 

Age Relaxation as of 01/01/2020:

• Ex-Servicemen: Upper limit is 42 years of age.
• OBC/MOBC: Upper limit is 43 years of age.
• SC/ST(H)/ST(P): Upper limit is 45 years of age.
• PWD: Upper limit is 50 years of age.

 

Other Criteria of BTC Kokrajhar Recruitment 2021:

 

•  The candidate(s) belonging to BTR shall be given 1st preference.
• The Language -I of the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET)/BTC TET of the candidate(s) shall match the medium of the school, wherein the candidate(s) wishes to apply. For e.g., if a candidate(s) wishes to apply in an Assamese Medium School, the candidate(s) must have Assamese as Language-I in the Assam/BTC TET. Likewise, for Bodo as Bodo Language School, the candidate(s) must have Bodo as Language-I in Assam BTC TET conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam. 
• Criteria-1 will come in force in case of Assistant Teacher for LP School and Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher of UP School.
• Criteria-1 will not come into force in respect of Assamese Language Teacher and Manipur Language Teacher of UP Schools.
• A candidate can apply 1 post in 1 district.
• The candidate(s) who has completed the 18-months D.El.Ed. course from the NIOS (ODL) will be treated as par and equally with the other candidate(s) who have completed the 2-year course for the purpose of this recruitment process.
• Candidate(s) having qualified in Assam/ BTC TET for LPS and Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) can also apply for the post of regular teacher in LP Schools but the person so appointed as a regular teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six-month bridge course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE within two years of such appointment as a regular teacher.

• Teaching experience certificate along with countersignature of concerned BEEO/D.I.s.
