IAF Group-C Civilian Recruitment 2021- 85 Vacancies in Various Posts

 

Indian Air Force has released an official notification for the recruitment of 85 Group ‘C’ Civilian vacancies at its various Air Force Stations/Units across the country. The candidates who are interested and eligible may apply.

Eligibility Criteria of IAF Group C Civilian Recruitment 2021:

 

Age Limit: For all posts, the candidates' age must be between 18 to 25 years (The crucial date for determining the age limit is the last date of receipt of application).

 

Age Relaxation:

• OBC: Upper limit is 28 years of age.
• SC/ST: Upper limit is 30 years of age.
• Physically Handicapped: Upper limit is 35 years of age. (Additional 05 years in case of Physically Handicapped belonging to SC, ST & 03 years for OBC category)

 

Educational Qualification:

 

• Supdt (Store): Essential: The applicant(s) must have Graduated from a recognized University or equivalent. Desirable: Experience in handling Store and keeping Accounts in a store of a concern of repute in the Public/Private sector.

 

•  Lower Division Clerk (LDC): The applicant(s) should have pass class 12 from a recognized Board. The applicant(s) must have a typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer (35 wpm and 30 wpm correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).

 

•  Hindi Typist: The applicant(s) should have pass class 12 from a recognized Board. The applicant(s) must have a typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer (35 wpm and 30 wpm correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).

 

•  Store Keeper: Essential: The applicant(s) should have pass class 12th or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. Desirable: Experience in handling Store and keeping Accounts in a store of a concern of repute in the Public/Private sector.

 

•  Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade): The applicant(s) should have pass class 10th or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university; The applicant(s) must be holding a valid Civil Driving License for light and heavy vehicles; The applicant(s) must possess professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanism; Minimum two years experience in driving motor vehicles.

 

•  Cook (Ordinary Grade): The applicant(s) should have pass class 10th from a recognized board with a certificate or diploma in catering; 1-year experience in the trade.

 

•  Painter (Skilled): The applicant(s) should have pass class 10th from a recognized Board or Institute. The applicant(s) must have an Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Painter from a recognized institute/Ex-servicemen in appropriate trade viz. Painter.

 

•  Carpenter (Skilled): The applicant(s) should have pass class 10th from a recognized Board or Institute. The applicant(s) must have an Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Carpenter from a recognized institute/Ex-servicemen in appropriate trade viz. Carpenter Rigger.

 

•  House Keeping Staff (HKS): The applicant(s) should have pass class 10th or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.

 

•  Mess Staff: Essential: The applicant(s) should have pass class 10th or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. Desirable: One year of experience as a Waiter/Washer up from an Organization or Institute.

 

•  Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Essential: The applicant(s) should have pass class 10th or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. Desirable: One year of experience as Watchman/Lascar/Gestetner Operator/Gardener from an Organization or Institute.

 
Selection Process of IAF Group C Civilian Recruitment 2021:

 

1. All the applications will be first scrutinized in terms of age limits, minimum qualification, documents, and certificates. Thereafter, the eligible candidates will be issued call letters for written test.

 

2. The eligible candidates will have to appear for a written test. The written test will be based on minimum education qualifications.

 

3. The written test will consist of (Depending upon the post):

•  General Intelligence and Reasoning
•  Numerical Aptitude
•  General English
•  General Awareness

 

4. The question cum answer paper will be in English and Hindi.

 

5. The requisite number of candidate(s) will be shortlisted and called for skill/physical/practical test wherever applicable based on merit/category in the written test.

 

6. Shortlisted candidate(s) is to bring original certificate(s), copies of the annexure attached with the application.

 
How to apply for IAF Group C Civilian Recruitment 2021:

 

The eligible candidates can apply to any of the above Air Force Station of their choice subject to the vacancies and qualifications. The application as per format given under (typed in English/Hindi), duly supported with the following documents is to reach the concerned Air Force Station as per choice within 30 days from the last date of the publication of this advertisement in 'Employment News/Rozgar Samachar’.

 

1. All the documents in support of Education Qualification, Age, Technical Qualification, Physically Handicapped, Experience Certificate, and Caste Certificate (issued by the competent civil authorities in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates), etc. to be accompanied with the application should be self-attested. 
2. In case of appointment of OBC candidate(s) against their reserved quota, their caste should be listed under Central List of OBC(s) as the candidate belonging to castes listed under Central list only are eligible for appointment to Central Services. The latest rules with regard to creamy layer in OBC(s) are to be followed. The candidates seeking reservation as OBC is required to submit along with the application a certificate to the effect that he does not belong to any of the creamy layer.
3. In the case of an ex-serviceman self-attested photocopy of the discharge book is to be submitted along with the application. 
4. Application form duly typed in English/Hindi with recent photograph (passport size) duly self-attested. Any other supporting document (self-attested), Self-addressed envelope with stamp(s) Rs. 10 pasted. The address should be typed in English/Hindi. A separate application for each post should be forwarded. Applicant(s) have to mention clearly on the envelope “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _______ AND CATEGORY_________". 
5. Two (2) passport-size photographs (same as fixed on the application form).
